Impact

The children’s center is located in Muriet village and surrounded by homes, paths and open fields where people are busy going about their daily activities. We currently have a 1-meter-tall mesh fence (what we could afford in our initial budget) that only serves to keep the children safe by keeping them from wandering outside the center.

However, it does not keep them safe from outside factors since it lacks the durability to withstand external pressures from outside and potential threats such as outsiders that can break into the school. Moreover, the neighbors’ actions could corrupt the kids as they live less than half a meter from the school. It is hard for the children to concentrate when there are people passing outside the center every day while others are even doing constructions which are very distracting.
